Join us for this celebrity screening of THE MERCY, in support of the RNLI. We're delighted to announce the film will be introduced by one of the UK's best-known sailors, Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, who won the race real race featured in the film. There will also be a glass of Mermaid Gin punch on arrival, thanks to the Isle of Wight Distillery.

THE MERCY tells the incredible true story of sailor Donald Crowhurst in a historic one-man competition to sail around the world. It stars Colin Firth and Rachel Weisz and is directed by the Academy Award-winning director of The Theory of Everything.

There will also be a unique opportunity to see a rare clip from a documentary made at the time about the race. Don't miss this very special evening!

We pleased to announce that Dame Ellen MacArthur is joining us for the screening too.

We'd like to thank STUDIOCANAL for supporting this screening. All photos © STUDIOCANAL.
