About the venue

Walmer Castle was built in 1539 as one of a chain of coastal artillery forts begun by Henry VIII. From 1708 it became the residence of many distinguished people, including the Duke of Wellington and Sir Winston Churchill. You’ll be able to enjoy the gardens after closing so don’t miss this opportunity!
