The film, staring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon, should be in everyone’s top ten: it’s very, very funny, has a couple of instantly recognisable songs sung by Marilyn Monroe, and there’s cross-dressing. What more could you want?!

About the venue

The cafe will be open just for us at the screening. Kathryn and David, two amazing people who work for the National Trust, will be making delicious burgers (and veggie ones too!) We'll also have fresh popcorn and a bar serving beer, wine and soft drinks. Come early, have something to eat and enjoy the gardens (admission is free for anyone coming to the screening) before the film starts!

This beautiful National Trust property is set in a sheltered valley and features a colourful herbaceous garden. There is an attractive Elizabethan manor house, as well as The Shack, a unique cabin retreat designed in the 1930s as an office by architect John Seely.
